Lithographic art is a complete printing process in which the artist draws directly over the surface of a stone using oil-based materials to leave marks. After the stone goes through a chemical process (quite complex, a specialist must do it) the stone will retain the ink that will be pressed into a paper, revealing the artwork in the right way, reverse.
